St Saviour’s is an Anglican Church in a parish situated in South West London in Raynes Park. The church is situated on a main commuter bus route, very close to city trains at Raynes Park and Wimbledon, and tram links from Wimbledon to the South East.
The population of the parish in 2011 was 9000, with a high proportion of Roman Catholics because of an increase in Eastern Europeans to the area latterly and close proximity of Catholic Schools around Wimbledon.
The electoral roll was 68 in 2016 and is now 50 in 2018. The fall in numbers is due to congregation deaths, movement of families and more accurate attention to recording.
We are a Church of England Parish with a lively and diverse congregation. We aim to serve the spiritual needs of the community whilst facilitating local community activities, organised by the church and by other local organisations.
